Terms and Conditions: BNI Business Networking Day 2026

Event Location: RH Hotel Pool Side Level 3, Sibu

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, or attending the BNI Business Networking Day 2026 ("the Event"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for or attend the Event.

2. Registration, Payment, and Taxes

Accuracy: All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and legally valid.

Payment & SST: Full payment in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) must be received at the time of booking to secure your spot. Where applicable, ticket prices are subject to the Sales and Service Tax (SST) as per the Sales and Services Tax Act 2018.

Ticketing: Tickets are valid only for the named ticket holder.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund Policy: All tickets are strictly non-refundable once purchased.

No Shows: Failure to attend the Event will result in the forfeiture of the ticket with no refund provided.

Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the Organizer cancels the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, attendees will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund of the ticket price. The Organizer is not responsible for any ancillary costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.

4. Code of Conduct and BNI Core Values

To ensure a positive and professional environment, all attendees must adhere to BNI’s core values, most notably Givers Gain®.

Professionalism: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and ethical manner. BNI prohibits any form of discrimination or harassment.

Solicitation: While networking is the goal, aggressive solicitation, spamming, or disrespectful sales tactics are strictly prohibited. Before sending any marketing communications to BNI Members outside your chapter, explicit consent must be freely given, specific, and informed.

Right of Refusal: The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry or remove any attendee whose behavior violates this Code of Conduct, disrupts the Event, or damages the reputation of BNI, without any refund.

5. Personal Data Protection (PDPA 2010 Compliance)

The Organizer is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

Consent to Process Data: By registering, you explicitly consent to the Organizer collecting, storing, and processing your personal data (including name, contact details, and business information) for the purposes of managing your Event registration, administration, and future BNI communications.

Networking Data Sharing: To facilitate the core purpose of this business networking event, you consent to your name, company name, and provided contact information being shared in the Event’s official attendee list or Event App. (Note: You may opt-out of the public attendee directory by contacting the Organizer prior to the Event).

Access and Correction: Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data. Requests can be directed to our Data Protection Officer at 01110561991.

6. Photography, Video, and Media Release

Consent to Record: By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer, BNI Malaysia Enrich Chapter, and its affiliates the irrevocable right to take photographs, record videos, and capture audio of you during the Event.

Usage: You authorize the Organizer to use these media materials for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes across BNI websites, social media, and printed materials globally, without any royalty or compensation payable to you.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

Personal Property: The Organizer, its directors, employees, and the Venue are not responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property belonging to attendees.

Assumption of Risk: Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the Event, including any risks of personal injury.

Business Outcomes: BNI is a marketing service provided by BNI Global, LLC. The Organizer does not guarantee any specific business outcomes, leads, or financial gains as a result of attending the Event.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Malaysia. Both parties irrecoverably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
